The Xtenna™ Controller is a host architecture that communicates with and manages RFID hardware devices by processing raw data into standard Application Layer compatible data for use by enterprise systems and back-end databases. It also manages system-based messaging and alerts through standard device and network management applications.
The Xtenna™ PoE (power-over-ethernet) Switch passes electrical power along with data on ethernet cabling. This allows a single cable to provide both data connection and electrical power to devices, enabling them to be centrally managed over a distance of up to 100 metres.
